Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?+
Not when applied correctly. The most common cause of damage isn't the extensions themselves — it's poor application (one extension glued to multiple natural lashes), too-heavy weights, or aggressive removal. I use isolation technique on every lash and weight-appropriate extensions for your natural lash strength. Your natural lashes shed and regrow on their own cycle either way.
What's the difference between classic and hybrid extensions?+
Classic = one synthetic lash applied to each natural lash. The result is a refined, "mascara-applied" look. Hybrid = a mix of classic single lashes and volume fans (multiple ultra-thin lashes attached to one natural lash). The result is fuller and slightly more dramatic, but still natural-looking. Hybrid is the most popular choice, it gives you noticeable lashes without being theatrical.
How do I take care of extensions at home?+
Three rules: (1) avoid oil-based products near the eye area, they break down the adhesive, (2) gently brush them daily with a clean spoolie, (3) don't rub your eyes or sleep face-down. Cleanse with a lash-safe foaming cleanser every other day. That's it. You'll get a complete aftercare kit and instructions at your first appointment.
Can I wear mascara with extensions?+
You don't need to, that's the whole point of extensions. If you want to anyway, only use mascara designed specifically for lash extensions (water-based, non-waterproof, oil-free). Standard mascara will damage the bond and shorten the life of your extensions significantly. Honestly, most clients stop wearing mascara altogether once they have extensions.
Is a lash lift better for sensitive eyes?+
For most sensitive-eyed clients, yes. There's no adhesive on the lash line and no extensions to maintain. The lifting solution is applied to the lash itself, not the skin. If you've had reactions to extension adhesives or find aftercare overwhelming, a lift is usually the better fit. Tell me about your sensitivities at booking and we'll choose the right option together.
Do you offer fills for extensions done elsewhere?+
It depends on the quality of the original work. If your existing extensions are well-applied and healthy, yes — we can do a fill. If they're poorly bonded, damaging your natural lashes, or grown out beyond reasonable repair, I'll recommend a removal and fresh full set instead. I'll always tell you the truth, even if it means more work for you (or me).
