What happens at a fill?
A fill maintains an existing set. The remaining extensions are checked, then suitable natural lashes receive extensions to restore the design. A full set creates the look from the beginning. Neither appointment can stop the normal shedding of natural lashes.
If you are choosing your first set, start with our classic and hybrid comparison. This guide is about what to book afterwards.
When should you come back?
Aura Beauty Atelier recommends planning around a 2 to 3 week fill routine. Your natural lash cycle, the condition of your set and your preferred fullness can change that timing. Make your next appointment before leaving if you already know your schedule.
There are prices for visits from 1 to 4 weeks. They are appointment options, not a promise that every set will remain suitable for a fill for four weeks. If your lashes look much sparser than usual, ask before selecting a slot.
Classic and hybrid fill prices
| Appointment | Classic | Hybrid |
|---|---|---|
| 1 week fill | $60 CAD | $70 CAD |
| 2 week fill | $70 CAD | $80 CAD |
| 3 week fill | $80 CAD | $90 CAD |
| 4 week fill | $90 CAD | $100 CAD |
| Full set | $130 CAD | $150 CAD |
Professional removal is listed separately at $30 CAD. These prices match the lash service menu. Confirm the appointment and final total before booking. For example, two classic 3 week fills cost $160 CAD across two visits. That is not a monthly package.
When might you need a new set?
Contact the studio if very few extensions remain, the set has become uneven or tangled, or you want a substantial change in style. An assessment helps decide whether to maintain the existing set or start again. There is no published minimum retention percentage on our service page, so do not assume a particular percentage guarantees a fill.
If another artist applied your extensions, mention that before booking. Send a clear current photograph if requested. A previous artist’s work may need assessment or removal, but a new set is not automatically required in every case.
What to share before your visit
- The date of your last appointment and whether your set is classic or hybrid.
- Whether the extensions were applied at another studio.
- Any change in comfort, unusual shedding or previous adhesive reaction.
- Whether you want to keep the finish or change the design.
Follow the cleaning instructions provided for your set and ask how to arrive for the appointment. Do not pull off remaining extensions to prepare for a new set.
Keep care simple between fills
Clean your lashes as instructed, brush gently and avoid rubbing or pulling. A fill restores fullness but does not replace daily care. For irritation or persistent eye symptoms, seek medical advice rather than covering the problem with more extensions. The American Academy of Ophthalmology explains adhesive and extension risks.
If regular fills do not fit your routine, our lift and extension comparison explains an alternative that works with your own lashes.
