What does 12 to 24 months mean?

Nano and powder brows are cosmetic tattoo techniques. The studio’s main service page lists a typical longevity of 12 to 24 months. Your result may need attention sooner or stay visible longer. There is no date when pigment is guaranteed to vanish completely.

Nano creates hairlike strokes with a machine. Powder creates soft shading. These finishes look different, but the technique name alone cannot predict exactly how long an individual result will last. Read our technique comparison if you are still choosing a finish.

Healing and fading are different stages

Fresh brows can look stronger than the settled result. Changes during healing should not be used to estimate the full lifespan of the treatment. Follow your personal aftercare instructions and allow the result to be assessed when the skin is ready.

The initial follow up and later maintenance have different purposes. Our healing guide explains broad early stages without promising a fixed timetable for everyone.

Why results do not fade at the same pace

Skin characteristics, the existing pigment, application and aftercare can affect how the result looks over time. Discuss your skin, previous cosmetic tattoos and skincare routine during your appointment rather than choosing a technique from a general skin type rule.

Sun exposure is another consideration. The American Academy of Dermatology notes that ultraviolet light can fade some tattoo inks. Once healed, discuss ongoing sun protection. Fresh brows need their own aftercare instructions, so do not introduce products to the healing area without guidance.

Before treatments or active skincare around the brows, tell the treating professional that you have cosmetic pigment. Ask for advice specific to your skin and procedure.

Initial touch up or later maintenance?

AppointmentListed pricePurpose
First session$400 CADCreate the brow design and apply pigment
Touch up after 30 days$150 CADAssess and refine the initial result when skin is ready
Annual touch up$200 CADDiscuss maintenance of an existing result

The touch up after 30 days is a separate appointment, subject to healing. The annual service is a booking option, not a rule that every client needs more pigment exactly one year later. If you are still happy with your brows, ask whether maintenance is needed before booking.

When to ask for a review of your brows

Send a clear current photo if requested and mention when the original work was done. An existing tattoo may affect the options available. A routine touch up should not be assumed to correct every old shape or colour.

Plan for the result you want to maintain

Bring questions about the fresh appearance, the healed finish and later maintenance to your free consultation lasting 15 minutes. Ask to see relevant healed work where available, and explain how much daily makeup you usually wear.
